Tears or holes are inevitable during using the inflatable bouncer. However, don’t worry, in most cases these can be repaired Here we will teach you how to repair the damages:
Tools & Materials You’ll Need
1.PVC repair patch (Same or similar material and color as the bounce house)
2.PVC glue or vinyl repair adhesive
3.Scissor
4.Clean cloth
5.Mild soap and water
6.Maker (optional )
7.Blower( to find the leaks)
Step 1: Find the leak or Hole
1.1Inflate the bounce house fully
1.2Walk around and listen for air escaping or feel for airflow with your hands
1.3If still can not find the hole, spray soapy water over suspected areas-bubbles will form where the air leaks.
1.4Mark the hole.
Step 2:Clean and Dry the Area
2.1 Deflate the bounce house
2.2 Clean around the hole with mild soap and water to remove dirt, oil or dust.
2.3 Waite it for dry completely.
Step 3: Prepare the patch
Cut a round or oval patch at least 2 inches (5cm) larger than the hole on all sides. (Note: the round edges stick better and will not peel easily)
Step 4: Apply the glue
4.1 Apply the PVC glue evenly on both patch and the damaged area.
4.2 Wait around 60-180s until the glue becomes tacky. If cold,we suggest use hairdryer to dry and heat both sides, by this the glue will have higher viscosity.
4.3 Press the patch firmly over the hole, smoothing out the air bubbles.
Note: If the hole is much bigger, we suggest sew the hole together with needle and thread. Then glue them together.
Step 5: Let it cure.
Keep the area flat and untouched at least 12 hours.
Based on above info, you can fix your bounce house easily.
